Founded originally in Malta’s capital city, Valletta, GANADO has a long heritage dating back to the early 1900’s. Today, we are one of Malta’s foremost law practices.
We provide high standard legal advisory services in a wide spectrum of international commercial and corporate activities. Over the years, the firm has contributed directly towards creating and enhancing Malta’s hard-won reputation as a reliable and effective international centre for financial and maritime services.
With a team of over sixty lawyers and professionals from other disciplines, supported by a growing complement of committed managerial, administrative and clerical assistants, we are confident of our ability to continue offering excellent client service and legal analysis, pragmatic solutions and attention to detail.
We define ourselves as a team of lawyers sharing a very high level of commitment towards professional excellence, ethics and collegiality.
Our Employment and Pensions Team possess expertise in an array of areas such as the drafting of contracts of employment, employment handbooks, employment policies, share option schemes, pension schemes and other related documents. We regularly provide legal services in relations to dismissals, termination of employment, redundancies (including collective redundancies), matters relative to employee information and consultation, the transfer of undertakings and employee protection, employment discrimination and harassment, industrial disputes and all types of litigation connected with such matters.
GANADO has in fact defended employers in the industrial tribunal since the tribunal’s establishment and has also a long-standing experience in defending clients in employment disputes in front of the Maltese civil courts and the Malta court of appeal.
